Roundabout Pink Donation Boxes Stand out

20170111 roundabout

We are proud to announce we are working with the social enterprise organization Roundabout to help those in need. Please see the message below regarding this written by Alan Cox, Early Childhood Center (ECC) Principal.

“Recently, you may have noticed new large pink donation boxes at both the main and early childhood campuses. These donation collection points are sponsored by Roundabout, a social enterprise headed by volunteers which started operation in 2008. Many of you will be familiar with the Roundabout Book Fairs hosted annually at BCIS. Roundabout provides a service connecting those who wish to give to those in need, supporting over forty charitable organizations in the Beijing area and many more throughout China, Inner Mongolia, and Mongolia. Roundabout provides aid to a wide range of people, including the elderly, children in orphanages and from poor families, mentally or physically challenged people, and women from disadvantaged backgrounds. BCIS families are invited to donate goods that are in a good, clean, working, and re-usable order. For more information of current needs, please view the Roundabout website: http://www.roundaboutchina.com/donate/.”
