Author Visit: Julia Cook
Julia Cook is an award winning children’s author from the United States, who is a former school counselor. She is a prolific writer whose creative stories help children to develop their emotional intelligence (EQ). Julia addresses issues that children face, such as making friends and interrupting, along with many, many others. Her characters offer readers advice about developing awareness, empathy and self-regulation. The BCIS Libraries are excited to be hosting Julia the week of April 17-21, when she will be working with our students from Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 7.
Information about Julia’s visit, ordering her books, and parent sessions being offered on both campuses has been sent home with the students. Please feel free to stop by our libraries to have a look at some of Julia’s books and also take part in the sessions planned by scanning the QR code below!
Please note that these sessions are only for BCIS Community members since it is an internal event. Thank you for your understanding.
