PAL Workshop: Using Assessment Data to Improve Instruction

20170412 palworkshop

On April 25, BCIS will hold the Parents as Learners (PAL) Workshop titled, “Using Assessment to Improve Instruction.” The session will be led by Elementary School Counselor and Data Tracking Team Leader Mr. Aaron Allen, who has many years of experience in this field. Please read on for some words about what will be discussed at the workshop from the counselor himself:

Discover the framework that BCIS teachers use to take data-driven instruction to the next level. Find out how we develop assessments, analyze the results, create action plans based on individualized needs, and reassess to check student growth. Uncover how this process personalizes learning, improves differentiation, and elicits the conversations needed to improve learning for all students and inform broad decision-making at the school.”
