20180228 Roundabout Book Fair banner

BCIS will proudly host the annual Roundabout Book Fair once again on Saturday, March 10, from 10:00 to 15:00! Please come along to the Elementary School Reception area to browse thousands of second-hand, gently used books in many genres and for all ages. There will be books in various languages to choose from, though the majority of books will be in English. You will be able to find some great reads with paperbacks from 10 RMB and children’s books from as little as 1 RMB. As always, all proceeds from the fair will go to the very worthy cause of helping those that need a hand.

Roundabout, a social enterprise headed by volunteers, connects those who wish to give, be that monetary or otherwise, to those in need. Started in 2008, Roundabout was the first charity store in Mainland China. Now, Roundabout gives support to 48 charitable organizations in the Beijing area, and to many more throughout China and Mongolia. To find out more about Roundabout visit their website at http://www.roundaboutchina.com.

Please note that members of the public wishing to attend the event will need to bring a valid form of photo ID (Chinese ID, Passport, Driving License, etc) to gain access to our campus. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter. We look forward to seeing you on the day.
