The Shrew - A Successful Drama Production

William Shakespeare’s “The Taming of the Shrew,” got an extreme makeover in February at BCIS. A team of twenty middle and high school actors and crew, with directors Phillip Clarke and Megan Eddington, took the classic comedy and turned it upside-down. Shakespeare’s play about the “taming” of a wild tempered young woman by an even wilder man, was presented with all characters changed to the opposite sex! The result was four performances over three days that delighted the full audiences with humour, romance and lively physical theatre. Congratulations to all involved!
