Dear Parents,

Summer is a great time to spend time with your children. It is my belief that, on average, children move one month backwards in their learning over the summer. I always suggest reading to your children or having them read as much as they can over the summer. The worst thing you can do for your child is to keep her or him in your apartment for long periods doing nothing except watching television and playing computer games.

The majority of students in the Secondary School got together last Friday to celebrate the last day of classes for the seniors. They have contributed a lot to the BCIS community and it was great to see the underclassmen take the time to make some noise and recognize the senior class.
