BCIS in Focus

BCIS in Focus - March 12, 2014

Dear Parents,

We need your input in creating our next Strategic Plan, which will be an essential guide in the development of goals and strategies in all areas related to our school for the next three school years commencing this August. With your assistance, we hope to present a new plan to the YueCheng Education Board of Trustees at its September 2014 meeting.

BCIS In Focus - February 26, 2014

Dear Parents,

Strategic planning is an ongoing process. At BCIS, we make time to consistently address how we can strengthen our programs, build upon our resources, and address the changing needs of our community. At this time of year, we aim to give parents insight into plans that will take effect the next academic year.

BCIS In Focus - February 12, 2014

Dear Parents,

I hope that you were able to spend quality time with your families over the Chinese New Year holiday. We were able to travel with Reilly and her brother William, who is currently studying at the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia. Spending time with the two of them reinforced my belief that travel educates children in a way that no other experience does.

BCIS in Focus - January 22, 2014

Dear Parents,

It has been a very busy couple of weeks between the winter break and the Chinese New Year. We have sent out reports to update you on the progress your children have made in our classes; we have had Parent/Teacher Conferences in the Elementary School; we have celebrated our annual Temple Fair; we have weathered through a period of terrible air quality.

BCIS in Focus - January 8, 2014

Dear Parents,

Welcome back to BCIS, and I hope that you and your family had a relaxing and rewarding break. It is a privilege to work with your sons and daughters every day of the school year as part of our wonderful mission at BCIS.
