As anticipation grows for the forthcoming school year, our new BCIS students have joined in the build-up with BCIS' Xperience! Camp. Unfamiliar territory just became that much more exciting and familiar with the help of our dedicated teachers on this year's virtual Xperience!
Our new Elementary School students jumped into their Xperience! this Monday. Every morning began with a meeting followed by an interactive school tour before beginning other technical and bonding activities. On one occasion leading into snack time, Mr José showed our new students around the ES kitchen and even had them join in making a snack together – "ants on a log", consisting of a celery stick stuffed with peanut butter, topped with seeds – donned with a chef's hat of course. They ventured further into the imaginative world of our abundant library, wandered the gym and built up the beginnings of their journey here at BCIS.
Last Thursday Xperience! started with our new Secondary School students and their parents. As part of their introduction, students and their families were delighted with a video montage of welcome messages from faculty. Thereafter students tuned into their breakout-groups where activities, among familiarizing with the school, each other, SeeSaw, Kahoot and other systems, filled the mornings with bounds of interaction and joy.
To mark the end of the beginning, all our students presented dynamic and inspired "Who am I?" presentations this morning at the Xperience! Exhibition. Just like our students and families, we cannot wait to share in this journey together and welcome our newest Warriors through our gates.
