After the first taste of driving in a go-kart when I was 6 years old, my dream has always been about Formula racing, and becoming a professional car racer. I participated in many F4 car races, now I’m taking a break from it and am back to college in Florida. I’m originally from Bahrain, I enjoyed the time I spent in BCIS, it’s a such diverse and welcoming community.

Living in San Diego, I’m an SoC Physical Design Engineer at Apple. After obtained my BS and MS degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California, I started my career by designing the graphics cards for Nvidia. Now, my main field is chip design, specifically the process of “timing closure”.

I have been working as a wine dealer for the past five years, own a natural wine import business and am living in Beijing. After graduating from Boston College, I got my philosophy degree and was deeply attracted by French wine, so I decided to come back and started my wine business. I’m currently completing my PhD degree in Particle Physics at the University of Oxford. Upon receiving my PhD degree, I plan to work as a research associate at the Glasgow ATLAS group. My favorite research focus is the Higgs Boson, I’m working as a member of the group working on the measurement of the Higgs Boson’s mass through the ATLAS experiments in CERN.

A chemical biologist studying enzymes in MIT lab

After graduating from Vassar College in 2021, I decided to dive deeper in chemistry. Right now, I’m a PhD candidate in MIT’s Chemistry program. As a chemical biologist, my current research at Professor Catherine L. Drennan’s lab primarily focuses on enzymes in bacteria that live on an aquatic plant called hydrilla.
