The academic team at Beijing City International School (BCIS) has been using the summer vacation to reflect on our own experiences and the experiences of educators around the world during these past six months. Education internationally has had to adapt quickly to dramatically changing circumstances due to COVID-19. We have all learnt a lot in a very short time. As we prepare for the new academic year at BCIS, we know the future remains uncertain, but our academic team and staff are confident and prepared for a range of situations and primed for a new year of learning. We are pleased to share our Three Learning Scenarios for 2020/21.

With some of our existing and new teachers already in China, and our overseas teachers in the process of renewing their visas, we are excited to see our teachers return group by group in the coming weeks. We eagerly anticipate the day when all our teachers will be home with our students on campus again. What a special day that will be!

We are also looking forward to welcoming our new students and families into the BCIS community. Prior to the start of our new school year, we will get to know each other on BCIS' first-ever virtual Xperience! Summer Camp. #BCIScommunity is as important as ever; we keenly await our entire community's reunion.
