The purpose of this session is to not only share with parents about how we learn and assess Math in the Secondary School (SS), but also the amount of inside and outside class learning support available in the department. During the session, we endeavor to take our parents through a series of discussions and hands-on activities in order to understand the BCIS SS Math program. This can empower our parents to take part in their child's Math learning at home, as well as give us an opportunity to be able to meet one to one with parents, while talking nothing but "Mathematics." On behalf of the Math Department, I cordially invite and encourage all SS parents to come and attend this session to be held on the evening of Tuesday, September 25, 2018.
