BCIS CLASS OF 2021 RESULTS
Fei Gao
Beijing City International School (BCIS) challenges all students to explore their interests and passions, empowering high school students to select appropriate courses, inspiring graduates to make a difference as they enter best-fit universities and the rapidly changing world.
BCIS graduates have consistently performed above the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) world average, and we are proud to announce that the Class of 2021's 35 IBDP candidates continued this tradition and successfully achieved their diplomas with 100% pass rate.
BCIS is strongly rooted in China and 69% of our IBDP students achieved bilingual diplomas, a testament to the school's emphasis on Chinese language and culture. Class of 2021 attained an average score of 6 for Higher Level Chinese Language and Literature, and an average score of 6.5 for Standard Level Chinese Language and Literature from a possible maximum score of 7.
We are equally proud to share that the Class of 2021's 7 IDEATE candidates also achieved a 100% pass rate. IDEATE is BCIS' alternative high school pathway to university, inspired and designed to empower students to take charge of their learning and thrive in an ever-changing world. IDEATE is a personalized, innovative, and project-based program challenging and supporting students to pursue their own ideas.
We wish the Class of 2021 continued success. Their best-fit universities await them as they make their final decisions from each of their multiple top university offers around the world.
Congratulations, Warriors!
