Beijing City International School (BCIS) is especially proud of our expanding BCIS Alumni Network. Once a BCISer, always a BCISer is an unwavering saying. BCIS Alumni is not exclusive to graduates, rather, it is all inclusive to any member of the BCIS Family who is not currently a member of our school – former students, former family members and former staff! This is also reflected in our Alumni Relations Team which comprises an alumni graduate, BCIS newcomer, and an alumni faculty member. Creating and maintaining connectedness is what contributes to the richness of our Alumni Network.

This summer our Alumni Relations Team continued to inspire connectedness and community with the additions of Alumni Passes and anew Alumni Study Lounge! With so many of our alumni unable to return to college next semester, our Beijing-based alumni have their own place to call home on main campus, their Home. With much preparation and thoughtfulness, the lounge space provides an oasis during this special summer break with a study area on one side and social area on the other. Rose, Class of 2016, said BCIS is best described with these three words: friendship, welcoming, and support; and this is what access to the Alumni Study Lounge provides. The Alumni Relations Team trusts this addition will continue to provide support, and also soon present opportunities for our alumni to be mentors and assist current students in their projects and journeys.
