All Secondary School students consider where their learning journeys will take them after graduation. To help them navigate this journey, Beijing City International School (BCIS) held its second university and college fair of the year earlier this semester. The Linden Fair led a delegation of college representatives to discuss university life, admissions processes and preparation with Grade 9 to 12 students.

BCIS students were able to have in-depth discussions with admissions representatives from a diverse range of universities, offering broader pathways and options for students currently considering their higher education options. Dutch Academy for Film and Photography, Ringling School of Art and Design, and Full Sail University were but a few of the universities showcasing at this fair, which had a Liberal Arts and Arts-focus. The above three colleges all offer leading degree programs in areas such as Entertainment, Media, Arts & Technology, which intrigued many students, especially those enrolled in Arts courses, Enrichment Activities or in the IDEATE Diploma Program. The Linden fair also allowed the opportunity for Secondary School parents to attend and familiarize themselves with the university admissions process, holding conversations with university representatives on the incredible university options available to BCIS graduates.

BCIS student, Sophia Shi, reflecting on her experience at the fair, said "Although I haven't thought about which school and major to apply for, this was a great opportunity to learn more about the application process. I found this college fair really helpful." Through university fairs showcasing diverse higher education options, admissions workshops and our university guidance counseling, BCIS guides and supports students as they prepare for the next steps on their learning journeys.
