A comedy? A tragedy?

This year, the Secondary School Drama students and teachers truly outdid themselves to put on two fantastic performances that left audiences clamoring for more. The older students tackled the classic by Shakespeare, "Macbeth," putting their own (and bloody) spin on it that led to a memorable adaptation for viewers. School Photographer (and jack-of-all-trades) Ming Jin stated of the performance, "It was very bloody. Definitely more than what I expected, but it was amazing! The special effects, especially, were great. The students and teachers did a fine job!" Meanwhile, the Middle School students performed "The Willow Pattern," which tells an exciting tale regarding the famous blue and white pottery design of the same name. After watching the play, Secondary School Teacher Librarian and IDEATE Coordinator Megan Eddington shared her thoughts about it and shared, "I cried, laughed, and smiled all the way home. Highly recommend!" Much praise should be showered upon Drama DP Theater Teacher Phil Clarke and MYP Drama Teacher Sara Clark for guiding the students and helping deliver such powerful performances for audiences to see. Congratulations to all that were involved. Job well done!
