Shu Qi lived in Oxford, Michigan before settling down in Beijing in 2019, as headmaster of a local school. She enjoys being an educator and a parent throughout her life journey. She joined the BCIS PTA in 2020 and was nominated as President of the PTA in 2021. As someone filled with passion and love, Shu is grateful for all the support from the families and staff of the BCIS community and is always excited to embrace and celebrate the diversity and spirit of our community. Ada has been with BCIS for five years and recently joined the PTA Executive Committee as Vice President and Sports Club Coordinator. She is committed to developing sports clubs and organizing activities for the BCIS community. As Plato said, sport is the best education as it develops not only the body but also the mind towards excellence and virtue.

As a mom of three children in the ES and ECC, Peiyu has been a part of the BCIS community for six years. As the Secretary of the PTA, Peiyu will support the PTA President and will ensure relevant meetings are well organized. She will dedicate herself to the PTA and wishes to build smooth communications between parents and the school.

Hattie has over 10 years of technical management experience in the TFT-LCD industry and environmental measurement industry, then 7 years as a financial consultant. Hattie's family joined the BCIS community in 2020 and had since then acted as the homeroom parent representative, until now. Hattie loves attending the events organized by school and PTA and is honoured to get the opportunity to be a part of the PTA executive committee. Hattie will do her best to fulfill the duties of the Treasurer position, and cooperate with others to make the BCIS PTA full of vigor.

Gulshoda and her daughter have recently joined BCIS and have originally come from Malta. She had lived in China for almost 10 years, so she is fluent in Chinese as well. She is excited to dedicate her free time to helping the BCIS community grow and making it a better place for the children.

Grace is honored to have been a part of the BCIS family since 2022, with one child in KG and another in Nursery. Before the arrival of her children, she was engaged in the field of hardware development. In 2013, she co-founded Shenzhen Livefan Information Technology Co., Ltd., specializing in the customization of computing terminal devices for professional fields. After becoming a mother, she shifted more time and energy to her family. She places great importance on her children's early growth and education, and has also benefited from this process herself, growing together with her children.

She strongly agrees with BCIS's "individualized" education philosophy, and believes that good education must involve cooperation between home and school. Maintaining open-mindedness and establishing trust and a connection with the school are what benefits students, families, and the entire school.

Yiyan has been with BCIS for five years and joined the PTA Executive Committee as Event Coordinator and ES Community Coordinator. She is the mother of Elsa Yin from G1. She hopes to strengthen parent-school collaboration and cultivate children living in the community to be healthier, more confident, and more independent through organizing a variety of community activities, aiming to shape them into lifelong learners facing the future.

Qi Wang, who has 9 years of BCIS family experience, has participated in many PTA activities and has often organized and participated in school sports related work, such as the school's parent football team. Qi is currently responsible for assisting in the management of the parents' WeChat group cht. He hopes to have the opportunity to continue serving BCIS parents and students.

Michelle is the mother of Luna and Joy, who joined BCIS in 2018. Michelle is so delighted to see them enjoy this wonderful learning journey, seeing them grow happily, healthily and thrive at BCIS. As a parent, Michelle is so proud to be a PTA member and believes in our school of Warriors being made by the Warriors, for the Warriors, and is happy to build bridges of communication between the BCIS parents and faculty members, doing her best to serve the community.

Ivy is the mother of Sid, a 6th-grade student. From when Sid entered the first grade to now, Ivy and her family have spent six wonderful years at BCIS. Ivy has also previously participated in some PTA activities as a volunteer and is grateful to have the opportunity to join the PTA family as the SS coordinator. 

Yolanda has been a part of the BCIS community since 2019. She joined the PTA Executive Board with the hope of building a safe, healthy, inspiring and dynamic environment for all the students in collaboration with members of the community. Through compiling the BCIS PTA Constitution Proposal with the team, Yolanda developed both a deeper understanding of the BCIS spirit and constant reflection on how to make the community a better place. 

Tony joined BCIS in 2022 and has recently joined PTA executive committee as an Events Coordinator. Despite his busy schedule as a partner at a Big Four company, he always makes time for organizing and participating in various activities of BCIS community. Tony is passionate when engaging in event coordination, from selecting venues and activity topics to arranging onsite affairs, ensuring that all participants are satisfied with the schedule events. Tony is happy to further contribute to support the growth and the development of BCIS. 

Steven is responsible for running the PTA shop and managing PTA merchandise, the funds of which will be used to benefit the community.
