This week, Beijing City International School (BCIS) welcomed back its Grade 9 students! This is the second cohort of students we have welcomed back to school since our campus was closed due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Strict measures remain in place that prioritize the health and safety of our students, teachers and BCIS community members. The entire week has been a celebration for us as the warmth of the students' laughter was felt around the campus. Our dedicated teaching staff continue to deliver blended learning, both online and on-campus, and the entire BCIS staff's focus remains on upholding the school's key priorities: To provide a highly controlled, low-risk health and hygiene environment for the students and employees; and ensure minimal disruption to the students' education.

We are working with local authorities and finalizing details on the conditions and requirements for more students to return to school as we transition towards more on-campus learning for more students. We are looking forward to the day when we can have all our BCIS family together once again.
