Recently, at the Early Childhood Center (ECC), a new exciting activity commenced: Story Time with ECC Teacher Librarian Suzanne McKemey! This is undoubtedly the perfect event for the community to experience the joys of reading, as well as the perfect opportunity for parents to spend more time reading books with their kids. And so, the first session held at the ECC Library was completely packed with over 100 eager readers waiting to hear the variety of amazing stories Ms. Suzanne prepared. Indeed, with over 8,000 books to select from at the Library, this could be a difficult task. However, Ms. Suzanne chose and read five different books that were all popular with the audience. One story in particular, titled, "Follow Me," by Ellie Sandall, was quite popular with all the children. They followed along to every word and acted out parts together with Ms. Suzanne, who always does great voices and actions with every book she reads. Due to popular demand, this story time event will now take place on a monthly basis. Please stay tuned for further details
